Jerry maintains financial records, implements financial management systems, coordinates conference facilities and provides scheduling and correspondence. Her wealth of organizational experience keeps AMEC running.
Prior to joining in September 2019, she was executive assistant and office manager for Curriculum Initiative, a Jewish nonprofit in New York that provides resources, student leadership opportunities and cultural programming on high school campuses.
Before moving to Flint to be near her son and his family, Jerry grew up and lived in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In her home state, she served as office manager, full charge bookkeeper and payroll manager for a septic company.
Jerry also brings an associate’s degree in business administration to MEC.
She has found an appreciation for Michigan’s clean air and trails that keep her close to nature; its playgrounds that show her the innocence of the world; and the book “What the Eyes Don’t See” by Mona Hanna-Attisha, the physician who helped reveal and fight against Flint’s water crisis.
