All Michiganders deserve access to clean, renewable energy and programs that help save money on our utility bills by reducing energy waste. Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go to make sure that all communities in Michigan can fully reap the clean air and affordability benefits of clean energy. It’s time to change this.
Join an array of local partners on June 28 for a Grand Rapids Clean Energy Forum to elevate voices in the clean energy movement.
At this forum, we will have an open and honest discussion on the current status of renewable energy in Michigan and ways to make sure its advantages can be accessible to everyone, no matter their zip code. This forum will focus on increasing the diversity, standing, and number of Grand Rapids groups and individuals engaged in fostering clean energy policy innovation.
This event will allow participants to network and share resources on initiatives happening locally and statewide to bolster clean and equitable energy programs. We will also have an impressive lineup of speakers who will bring in unique perspectives and expertise on this topic. Together, we will set Grand Rapids apart when it comes to equity in meeting greenhouse gas reduction targets.
Delicious food and drink will be served. Admission is free, but space is limited and registration is required.
