Elizabeth Fedorchuk brings more than 30 years of experience in communications, marketing and engagement to MEC's mission of protecting the health of Michigan's people and the environment. She is responsible for a full range of communications products and services, including media relations, member engagement, MEC’s website and social media presence, and supporter database.
Fedorchuk has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and information technology, and is a dedicated community volunteer. She has served as president, volunteer coordinator, conference director, and service unit director for a wide range of arts and community organizations, including the Ann Arbor Film Festival and Girl Scouts of the USA. She was a board member and president of the East Lansing Food Co-op, and led its implementation of policy governance. Prior to joining MEC in 2004, she served as an editor for information technology services at the University of Michigan. Fedorchuk earned a bachelor's degree in telecommunications from Michigan State University College of Communication Arts and Sciences.
